aha, CIRCUS!
acrylic, inks, collage on panel, framed. This was formerly a work entitled "Calder's Balancing Act". It had never felt finished. Recently viewed (and loved) Andrew Wyeth's exhibit at the National Gallery - Looking Out, Looking In. It was so inspiring, and went home yearning to experiment with his palette. This is what I did.... go figure.
